STAFF ENGINEER
$105,992.38 - $128,335.48 annually

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, a progressive public utility, is seeking a Staff Engineer. This position is the entry-level classification in the professional engineering series. Assigned to the Capital Projects Division of the Engineering and Technical Services Department, this position will perform entry-level professional engineering work in the planning, design, investigation, and construction of the District's wastewater treatment plant, collection system, and related facilities.
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major work in engineering or a closely related field.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a valid California Driver's License. A valid out-of-state driver's license will be accepted during the application process. Must possess a valid California Driver's License within 90 days of appointment.
Possession of an Engineering-In-Training Certificate is desirable.
Other Requirements:
Central San requires that all employees be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. A medical or religious exemption may be granted on a case-by-case basis. For additional information, please contact HR.
