About Us: USD, an award-winning independent special district, seeks two Junior/Assistant/Associate Engineers for our Enhanced Treatment and Site Upgrade (ETSU) Team. These long-term, limited-duration positions (7-10 years) are a chance to shape the future of wastewater treatment in the Bay Area. These positions are fully benefited.
Project Highlights: Play a key role in construction, startup, and commissioning of our Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant. Your Role: As a Junior, Assistant or Associate Engineer, your main focus will be on overseeing construction, working closely with our dynamic team and external partners. Compensation:
- Junior Engineer: $109,021 - $143,091 annually, plus excellent benefits.
- Assistant Engineer: $121,135 - $158,990 annually, plus excellent benefits.
- Associate Engineer: $135,908 - $178,379 annually, plus excellent benefits.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (ABET accredited) in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Junior Engineer: Must obtain Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification within a year.
- Assistant Engineer: At least two years of relevant experience and EIT Certification.
- Associate Engineer: Four years of relevant experience plus PE registration in California.
- Junior Engineer: Must obtain Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification within a year.
- Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:
