East Bat Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Analyst II - Strategic Initiatives to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for human resources. As a Human Resources Strategic Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing Human Resources (HR) strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.


Responsibilities may include:
Collaborating with HR leaders to identify key challenges and opportunities within the organization.
Assisting in the development of HR strategies and initiatives to address identified needs and drive business performance.
Developing and completing project plans including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Creating comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to HR and senior management.
Staying informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in HR strategic planning.
Partnering with cross-functional HR teams to ensure alignment of HR strategies with broader HR and EBMUD goals.
Supporting the implementation and evaluation of HR programs and initiatives.
Developing and maintaining dashboards and other tools to track HR metrics and measuring the effectiveness of HR initiatives.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following Competencies:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree and SHRM certification preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and anticipate future HR needs.
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS systems and data visualization tools is a plus.


The salary range is $10,937 per month, increasing to $11,484, $12,058 and $12,661 after 6, 18 and 30 months, respectively.


A flexible/hybrid work from home schedule may be available after several months.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
2. Two years of experience in HR analytics, strategic planning, or a related field.
