The Manager of Distribution Maintenance and Construction is a Division Manager within the Maintenance and Construction Department. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing the construction, maintenance and repair of water distribution pipelines and appurtenances (water meters, air relief and isolation valves and fire hydrants) and services. The water distribution system consists of approximately 4,200 miles of pipelines, 98,000 appurtenances, 30,000 hydrants, and 380,000 services. The Distribution Maintenance and Construction Division includes over 230 staff and an operating budget exceeding $39 million. This is an exempt (at will) position, serving at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.

The annual salary ranges from $186,648 to $269,604. Initial placement within the range is based upon qualifications. Appointment is typically made at or below the control point $242,640.

Requirements:
- No degree requirement
- Ten (10) years* of progressively responsible experience supervising the design, construction, maintenance, and/or operation of water distribution pipelines and facilities.
