The District is seeking two temporary, part-time maintenance workers in the Mechanical Maintenance division to perform a variety of duties related to mechanical maintenance projects
The work schedule will be Monday through Thursday and hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Assignment is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2022, and last up to six (6) months or 1000 hours, however, assignments may end at any time at the discretion of the District.
Duties included, but are not limited to:
Oil, greasing and filter changes for mechanical equipment
Providing assistance to mechanics on large projects
Assistance with reorganization of inventory
Other related tasks as assigned
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Must be able and willing to work in all types of weather, including high heat days and cold and rain
Must not be an active CalPERS member (CalPERS retirees are encouraged to apply)
Mechanical, facilities or construction experience is desirable
This assignment requires on-site work at the District's Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility.
