The functions of the Administrative Services Department include; Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology divisions, and is part of the administrative support for the Infrastructure and Planning and the Water Quality and Resources Recovery departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | |
Any combination of experience and training that demonstrates that a person has obtained the required knowledge and can perform the required work (with reasonable accommodation, if needed) will be considered. A person with the following combined training and experience would typically qualify to compete in a selection process: Experience: Four years of full-time, professional level, complex financial analysis experience, including short and long-range financial forecasting, rate studies and analysis, budget development, financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting, preferably with a governmental agency or public utility. An advanced degree in the following fields of study from an accredited college or university: Finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field may be substituted for experience. Education: Possession of a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field. Direct experience in the field of accounting or financial analysis, in addition to the minimum requirement outlined above, may be substituted for a degree on a year-for-year basis. License or Certificate: Possession of a valid California driver's license OR possession of the ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule and the ability to travel between sites as necessary Desirable Qualifications:
