CYBERSECURITY ANALYST

Annual Salary: $151,719 - $183,375

Central San, a progressive public utility, has an excellent career opportunity in the position of Cybersecurity Analyst. This position will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support and maintenance of cybersecurity within the District. Reporting to the IT Manager, this position will plan, organize, coordinate, and implement District-wide cybersecurity compliance activities and operations ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information technology systems, assist with cybersecurity architecture, design, requirements, validation and verification, and handle the day-to-day cybersecurity duties of the District's system infrastructure.

Education and Experience:

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.

Five (5) years of full-time experience performing duties in in the areas of information systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity.

Four (4) years of additional qualifying experience as noted above may be substituted for the Bachelors degree.

Licenses and Certificates:

May need to possess a valid California Class A Driver's License as required by the position.

Must possess or obtain within 18 months of hire, one of the following cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, or CEH
