RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - LIMITED DURATION

Annual Salary: $125,491 - $151,819 Plus excellent benefits

Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Risk Management Specialist position (Limited Duration). This position, which is expected to last between 3-5 years, will be responsible for performing highly complex risk management work overseeing, developing, implementing, and reviewing risk management and loss control programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

Education and Experience:

Three years of increasingly responsible experience working with risk management related programs and activities.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, risk management, or closely related field

Four years of additional qualifying experience as noted above may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

License:

Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or comparable designation is highly desirable.

A District application and supplemental questionnaire must be filed by 5:00 p.m. January 24, 2025.
