Storekeeper II's maintain computerized stock records; receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, tools, parts, and equipment used in a large water and wastewater utility; load and unload pipeline construction supplies and other materials, including furniture; and operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts. Job duties are carried out at a variety of storage and work sites throughout the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) service area.
The responsibilities of this job are in two major areas: the clerical duties associated with the stock recordkeeping system, including use of computer terminals and the physical duties related to receiving, storing, and issuing a variety of construction, maintenance, and consumable materials. Storekeeper II's will interact with both EBMUD employees as well as external clients and must be able to accurately and consistently complete requisitions and requests for equipment and materials.
Typical duties of the Storekeeper II may include:
The salary range is $7,305 per month increasing to $7,670, $8,054 and $8,457 after 12, 24, and 36 months, respectively.

Requirements:
1. Completion of the twelfth grade, or its equivalent.
2a. One year of experience as a Storekeeper I and upon supervisory certification of proficiency; OR
2b. One year of responsible storekeeping experience.
3. Must possess a valid California driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
